There is no player in the world who enjoys being substituted. Many however, understand the reason why and silently accept the decision. Then there are others who make their disdain very obvious. Such instances though, are few and far between.

The reason behind the public spat is unknown. However, it seems that Pep Guardiola was suggesting that the forward should have made his way off the pitch from the nearest point of exit. Aguero, who seemed to be in a foul mood at being replaced by Gabriel Jesus, must have not taken kindly at getting an earful from his boss immediately after.

Manchester City opened the scoring through a header from Raheem Sterling. The goal was aided by an accurate pass from Kevin De Bruyne. Tottenham then immediately equalized with Erik Lamela scoring the equaliser. Kevin De Bruyne then provided another pass as Sergio Aguero restored City’s lead in the match.

City left the pitch at Half-time with the score at 2-1. However, Lucas Moura equalised for Tottenham once again in the second half. The Brazilian came in as a substitute and scored after just 14 seconds! He jumped over everyone to put the ball past Ederson.

At the moment of writing, the game seems to be heading towards a draw. The score is still tied at 2-2. It remains to be seen if anyone of these two teams can score a late winner.
