Arsenal cruised to victory in season’s first north London derby as the side beat Tottenham 4-2. A brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and a goal each from Alexandre Lacazette and Lucas Torreira led the Gunners to a famous victory over their North London rivals.
Tottenham took a lead in the game with two quick goals towards the end of the half, after Aubameyang scored the opener in the game.

Eric Dier scored the first goal for the visitors, which was followed by a heated touchline brawl in the aftermath of a controversial goal celebration. Harry Kane converted the penalty after Son was fouled inside the box.
A significant controversy ensued behind the decision to award the penalty, as many were of the opinion that Son dived. However, while replays showed that Son was indeed fouled, Sokratis, who hadn’t yet seen the replay, decided to give the Tottenham attacker his opinion about the incident at full time.
Sokratis to Son-Heung Min:
Sokratis approached Son at full time and pointed towards the spot where the incident in the first half took place. He allegedly argued with Son, while Son kept denying that he didn’t dive and that Holding fouled him.

The fans also noticed Sokratis thundering down at Son at full time:
Arsenal completed a remarkable turnaround in the game as they came from a goal down at halftime to win 4-2. Lucas Torreira was adjudged the man of the match for his yet another excellent display in the midfield.
Arsenal will now take on Manchester United in the mid-week game on Wednesday. The spirits at Old Trafford are fairly low after the side was held to yet another draw by relegation-threatened side Southampton.
The Gunners, meanwhile, entered the top-4 with the win over Tottenham, while Pochettino’s side has slipped to 5th position in the league despite being at third in the beginning of the weekend. Chelsea won their game against Fulham, which resulted in Spurs falling out of the top four.
