Zidane to Chelsea?

Zinedine Zidane has placed three conditions to take over Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Zinedine Zidane, who left Real Madrid following the Champions League triumph in May is currently without a club. There were plenty of offers during the summer, but he decided to stay out of the managerial reign for some time to take a sabbatical.

However, there were many reports quoting that Chelsea are currently exploring the possibility of bringing Zinedine Zidane to Stamford Bridge if the results do not pick up under Maurizio Sarri.

Italian International has been prone to criticisms after trying to implement his style of football. The former Napoli manager accepted that the players are struggling to get used to his philosophy which has forced several people to raise their eyebrows.

Not only the philosophy, but Sarri once crucified the mentality of Chelsea players when they lost the first leg of the semifinal tie to Tottenham Hotspur. He did get an instant reaction after the London outfit qualified for the finals of the domestic competition.

If Maurizio Sarri fails to finish in a Champions League spot next season, there are very minimal chances of seeing him as the Chelsea manager in the forthcoming campaign.

According to the Spanish publication Sport, Zidane will take over the club if he is assured of three things. The former Los Blancos boss does not want the club to cash in on the Belgian Eden Hazard who looks increasingly likely to move to Real Madrid in the summer transfer window after turning down three renewed contracts from the Blues.

Apart from keeping hold of the Chelsea attacker, he wants a premium of 200 million transfer budget to take the club to the next level. There have been far too many poor transfers at Stamford Bridge over the last two years and he wants to change that by taking full in charge of the incomings and outgoings.

Without having much power in the transfer sayings, Zidane decided to quit Real Madrid. However, when he is landing his next job, the French International will be keen on that part to get along with the club smoothly.

Should Maurizio Sarri fail, it will be interesting to see who Chelsea will bring in as the next Blues manager. There is no doubt that they need a complete revamp in the backline, and a striker will be in due if they fail to seal a permanent deal for Gonzalo Higuain in the summer transfer window.
