Callum Hudson-Odoi was snubbed by Maurizio Sarri yet again, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had a touching gesture for the player.

Manchester United beat Chelsea 2-0 in the fifth round of the FA Cup clash on Monday night.

With this win, Solskjaer has now won 11 games out of 13 since his appointment in December.

Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba were on the target for Manchester United, as they secured a place in the quarterfinal of the tournament. The side will take on Wolves at Molineux Stadium for a berth in the semifinal.

Maurizio Sarri had yet another disappointing night to endure and has reportedly been given a three-game ultimatum to save his job. His decision to keep English youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi was met with severe criticism yet again.

The 18-year-old has played only four Premier League games this season. While he played full 90 minutes in Chelsea’s third and fourth round of the FA Cup ties, he was kept on the bench for the game against Manchester United.

After the full-time whistle, as the managers had a customary handshake, Solskjaer approached Hudson-Odoi. He had a brief handshake with the youngster before departing through the tunnel.

The youngster was linked with a move to Bayern Munich and has played only 19 minutes of club football since the transfer window was shut.

Footage of him eyeing Maurizio Sarri after the manager decided to bring on Zappacosta raised significant discussion over the relationship between the two.

Chelsea have had a few shaky weeks, which saw them falling to the sixth position in the Premier League after a stunning 6-0 loss to Manchester City. Chelsea will face Guardiola’s side again this weekend as they take on City in the final of the Carabao Cup.
