Here is how Twitter reacted to Chelsea’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.

Stamford Bridge as not been happy hunting for Manchester United who have won just twice from their last 22 visits to the London. However, they made sure that history does not play a part in this tie and came away as 2-0 victors by thoroughly dominating the game from minute one to ninety.

When the game was looking balanced, Manchester United broke through the counter-attack to lead the game. Paul Pogba produced a brilliant cross to find Ander Herrera who had to head the ball in from close range in the 31st minute.

Chelsea were piling pressure to level the game, but Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford combined brilliantly to find the back of the net for the second time to put the game beyond sight for Maurizio Sarri’s men.

There was not much action in the second half as the Red Devils did the defensive job of the game to see out the game against a Chelsea game who never really looked to trouble the scoreboard.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be delighted with the comeback by producing a scintillating display against the current FA Cup holders whose cup hopes dies in the fifth round. On the other hand, Maurizio Sarri’s ideas are read by out by the opponents week in week out and the Italian must develop a new blueprint to secure results in the upcoming weeks.
