With India’s tour to Ireland in the near horizon, the broadcasting rights for the T20 Series has been announced.

Team India is scheduled to contest in a two-match T20 series against hosts Ireland ahead of their all-important tour to England.

The tour will commence with the first twenty-20 International on June 27 in Dublin, the final game will be played at the same venue on June 29.

Amidst all of this, the Indian fans are left puzzled as to where to access the first ever bilateral series between the two nations. As per the latest update, it has been revealed that the Sony Pictures Network have managed to acquire the broadcasting rights.

Sony Pictures Network, who are underway hosting the FIFA World Cup are expected to display the games on Sony Six and Sony Ten 3. Apart from these platforms, Sony Liv will be the live-stream platform.

The matches are expected to gain substantial viewership even with it’s imminent clash with the ongoing football extravaganza. The scheduled International games are expected to air from 8:30 PM IST.

The viewers will have the option to track the game in multiple languages as Sony Six and Sony Ten 3 are announced to air the matches in Hindi and English respectively. Notable cricket experts such as Harsha Bhogle, Sunil Gavaskar, and Sanjay Manjrekar are assigned to lead the English commentary table whereas former Indian cricketers, Ajay Jadeja, Deep Dasgupta and Vivek Razdan will lend their analysis and voice in Hindi.

India have named a strong contingent for the upcoming tour with success in England the utmost priority after having failed to perform at their best, the last time around.

The first ever bilateral series would be enthralling to watch given Ireland’s recent debut test outing and the pitches on display which are suited for the quick bowlers. The Virat Kohli led team will look to make a strong statement on European soil with a long tour ahead of them.
