Batting in the undesired position has brought infamous critics to MS Dhoni. Positive talks suggested MS Dhoni to play up the order and the negative suggested him to call curtains on his T20I career.

Former Indian captain and current CAB President Sourav Ganguly has come up with another suggestion on MS Dhoni in order to drive away all the critics that has been targeting him for quite a while.

Ganguly urged MS Dhoni to change the approach in T20Is and only then he can excel in the shortest format of the game. Ganguly added saying that Dhoni’s record in T20Is hasn’t been good compared to ODIs.

However, Ganguly is expecting the Indian team management to deal and sort out the situation with MS Dhoni before it is too late. “His record in T20I is not that good compared to ODIs.

Hope Kohli and team management will speak to him separately. He has an immense ability. If he approaches T20Is differently, then he will be successful,” Ganguly said.

According to Ganguly, MS Dhoni is someone who is very good at playing ODIs and Ganguly expects him to continue playing the ODI format.

Given the limited balls in hand and the position that he is coming to play, things have been a tad tough for Dhoni as far as upping the ante is concerned.

It is all up to the selectors’ decision to play MS Dhoni in the right way. If and only MS Dhoni approaches the T20Is differently, things will go down too well for him.

“I think he should keep playing One-day cricket, but he has to play differently in T20Is. He has to play T20Is freely. It depends on the selectors and how they would like to play him,” Ganguly told PTI.
