Both the Indian and Afghanistan sides are set to lock horns in the Match no. 28 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 on June 22 (Saturday). The encounter will take place at The Rose Bowl in Sounthampton.
The rain God(s) have blessed some mercy as we have now had 8 completed matches without much inclement weather notifications. The last match which was washed-off due to rain was India vs New Zealand which was supposed to be played at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
Although the organizers have managed not to disappoint the fans with reduction in as few overs as possible, they do not have a say as to when the English weather might surprise them big time. The weather has already played spoilsport in as many as 4 World Cup matches so far.

Southampton weather tomorrow
Several net sessions of the Indian Cricket Team were marred due to rain on Wednesday and Thursday despite the weather forecast for both the days were predicted to be clear. That’s the thing about the English weather.
While the Indian team had a start-stop practice session, Afghanistan team could just manage to warm-up their bodies as it soon began to drizzle.
Moreover, after the Indian Team completed their practice session, dense clouds hovered above their heads providing yet another gloomy picture.
However, the good news for fans is that the weather at The Rose Bowl on the Match day, is predicted to be Mostly Sunny. There are only 10% chances of rain on Saturday with a 20 degree pleasant temperature prediction.
Rain not expected to play spoilsport
The weather on June 21 (Friday) as well was pleasant, with clear blue skies right since the early morning. During day time (on the match day), the chances of rain drop down to an almost negligible 1% with a partly cloudy weather during the night.
