Sporting sends classy Bruno Fernandes transfer message to Manchester United on Social Media on Wednesday night.
Manchester United have confirmed on their website, that they have agreed a deal with Sporting Lisbon to sign Bruno Fernandes pending a medical and contract agreement with the player. The statement read:
“Manchester United is delighted to announced it has reached agreement with Sporting Clube de Portugal for the transfer of Bruno Fernandes.
“The deal is subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms.
“A further announcement will be made in due course.”

The Red Devils will pay an initial €55 million for the midfielder, although add-ons could increase the overall cost to €80 million (£67.6 million). While many fans were pleased with the announcement, their hearts were won over by the club who showed class and respect with a series of tweets since the news broke.

The Portuguese club first put up a tribute video featuring all his best moments with the club. The video was captioned:

About an hour later, the club tweeted a picture of their former captain, captioned:

There will be no time for Fernandes to adjust to English football as Manchester United fans may get a first glimpse of their new signing this weekend when they host Wolves in the Premier League. The player that the club have been chasing since last summer is expected to bolster their midfield and regularly contribute to their attack as well.
