SRH Playing 11 today: The Sportsrush presents before you SRH’s Predicted Playing 11 for their 10th match of IPL 2019.

After having floundered their way midway through the season, last year’s finalists, the Sunrisers Hyderabad have rejuvenated their bid for a top 4 finish with two comprehensive wins on the trot in recent times.

Having decimated the Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad with ease, the side have been resurgent under the captaincy of the returning Kane Williamson who has lead impeccably with proactive captaincy and decisive decision-making.

Taking on the Chennai for the second time in the matter of a week, SRH know the task at hand won’t be an easy one to traverse especially with the opposition hurting after losing two matches on the bounce for the first time in what has been an otherwise perfect season for them.

Top-order

Coming on the back of a riveting 131-run stand in 12.2 overs which had blown apart KKR on Sunday, Jonny Bairstow-David Warner opening stand has been the most fruitful aspect of SRH’s season this year and they’ll be banking on their openers to lay yet another match winning foundation for the side come Tuesday.

With more half-century stands than any other opening pair this edition, the two have been a testament to everything that has been right with this franchise and with Williamson following up, it’s a top 3 that is held in massive reverence in the league.

Middle-order

The travails for SRH begin down number 3 though. However the SRH team management have throughout this season for some befounding reason decided to stick with the same middle-order on most occasions and we expect the case to remain the same for tomorrow’s encounter as well.

Vijay Shankar will come in at number 4 with Yusuf Pathan and Deepak making the lower middle-order as the pure big hitters for their side. Expect them to come into play on Tuesday on a surface where scoring runs isn’t the easiest of tasks.

Bowlers

It’s this department which poses the biggest question for SRH ahead of their all important clash against one of their biggest adversities in the tournament. On a wicket that will spin sharply, selecting Nabi makes a big case for itself with the spinner not only helping bulk up the middle-order but coming good with his 4 overs of spin as well.

SRH, however, will most likely rely on Rashid Khan and Shahbaz Nadeem to deliver the job in the spinning department with their current crop of 4 overseas players serving them fruitfully. The pace department will be spearheaded by Bhuvneshwar Kumar with the inform Khaleel Ahmed and Sandeep Sharma filling in the gaps.
