SRH vs KKR Match Prediction

SRH vs KKR Match Prediction: The Sportsrush presents before you the Match Prediction of 38th match of IPL 2019.

The 38th match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League will be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders at Hyderabad tomorrow. While SRH returned back to winning ways by defeating Chennai Super Kings by 6 wickets, KKR would be looking to do the same for they have lost four matches on the trot now.

Out of the five matches which Sunrisers have played at home, they have won three and lost the other two. On the contrary, Knight Riders have lost two and won the other two matches out of their four away matches in IPL 2019.

SRH vs KKR – What numbers suggest?

Hyderabad and Kolkata have played a total of 16 matches. While Hyderabad have won only six matches, Kolkata have won as many as 10 matches. Talking of the five matches played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, SRH have won only two as compared to KKR’s three wins.

A stat which favours the hosts ahead of the clash is both the teams average score against each other. While Hyderabad have an average score of 155 against Kolkata, the visitors have an average score of 149 against Hyderabad.

SRH vs KKR – Paper value

Had it not been their star all-rounder in Andre Russell, Knight Riders would have struggled big time in IPL 2019. Barring Russell, Kolkata give the impression of being a mediocre squad despite looking much better on paper. While it will be no mean task, if Sunrisers manage to tackle Russell, they should be able to register their fifth IPL 2019 victory.

KKR’s bowlers conceding formidable scores more often than not should come in handy for the likes of David Warner and Jonny Bairstow. Despite the past record favouring Knight Riders, Sunrisers are the favourites on the back of their current form.
