One thing’s for sure: fans are about to get loads of fresh updates on this year’s most awaited title, StarField. In fact, the anticipation is so high that it forced its makers, Bethesda and Xbox, to give it a direct event of its own instead of addressing the game on the 2023 Xbox Games Showcase.
The event is officially named ‘Starfield Direct,” and it’s scheduled for live streaming on June 11th, just after Xbox Showcase ends. The developers have yet to disclose the event’s official timing, but we know the Xbox Showcase will kick off at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific Time). Hence, StarField Direct is expected to begin anytime around 12:00 PM PT, as Microsoft stated earlier that the Showcase is a 2-hour event.
As for how long the Direct event will be, the devs haven’t really shared anything regarding the duration. Don’t worry, we’ll share the timing as soon as there’s some confirmation from Bethesda or Xbox. Now, let’s get into everything we know so far about the event.
StarField Direct and Xbox Games Showcase may be combined events
According to senior eSports editor Tom Warren, both events could be merged together with a running time of 2 hours.
In the tweet, Tom expressed, “so the Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct is going to be around 2 hours total. Probably 90 mins for main show and 30 mins for Starfield”.However, fans are advised to take it with a grain of salt, as there’s still no confirmation from the developers’ end.
Where to watch and what to expect from the Starfield Direct?

It’s confirmed that the devs will reveal tonnes of information on this upcoming Bethesda title, as earlier announced by Microsoft during the Direct’s announcement. That will consist of gameplay footage, developer interviews, BTS information, and much more.
