“Stephen Curry Was Waiting To Drop This Bar!”: NBA Twitter Reacts to Warriors’ MVP’s Message About Draymond’s Suspension

The Golden State Warriors came home tonight and made sure they defended their home court. Playing without Draymond Green and Gary Payton II, the Dubs went in short-handed in a series where they’re already down 0-2. However, Stephen Curry and co. didn’t let the obstacles stop them tonight.

The Dubs came swinging out of the gates. Taking an early lead, the Warriors never let the Kings get in control of the game. Leading by as much as 23 points at a time, the Dubs finished the game, winning it 114-97.

Not only was this win big to stay alive in the series, but also for building momentum for the rest of the games. After the game, Steph stopped and talked to the TNT crew, who obviously asked him about Draymond’s suspension.

Stephen Curry responds to ‘history’ suspension, NBA Twitter reacts

Stephen Curry is someone who always has his teammates’ backs, no matter what. Tonight was no different. The entire Warriors organization was pissed about the suspension, and they let their actions talk on the court.

After the game, when Ernie asked Steph about the team’s mindset heading into the game, to which Steph replied and talked about how even Draymond told them to keep it all about the game. To end his interview, Steph said,

“They say Draymond’s got a history, so do we.”

The fans absolutely loved what Steph said, and they let the same be known.

How does Game 4 look for the Warriors?

Coming off a huge Game 3 win, the Warriors will head to Sunday with some much-needed momentum. On top of that, they will get Draymond Green back and hopefully GP2 as well. The Kings will look to bounce back and take a road win, but the Warriors have been in this situation a lot, and know what they need to do.

They need to limit their turnovers like they did today. At the same time, the Warriors need to make their presence felt on the boards, which will help them get more possessions, and in turn, help them win the game.

For now, Stephen Curry and the Warriors should head home and get some much deserved rest.
