IShowSpeed wins Variety Streamer of the Year at the Streamy Awards 2023
The Streamy Awards is considered to be one of the most celebrated award shows dedicated to all content creators and live streamers. It is the highest of honor for everyone creating online content and people behind the scenes.
IShow Speed was nominated for the Variety Streamer of the Award among various others. Other nominations in the category included Emily “Emiru’ Schunk, Saqib “LIRIK” Ali Zahid, Ludwig Anders Ahgre, and Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter. But IShowSpeed was given the honor to win Variety Streamer of the Year.

Speed later handed over his awards to his father who was very proud of him. After receiving the award Speed’s dad stated that they had got the win at the Streamy’s. He continues that Speed does it all he dances, he plays, he talks, and he does everything. Speed’s dad says “I am proud of you son”. He thanks Speed for giving him the opportunity to experience everything. His father also thanks Speed for everything he has been doing for his family and friends. He also gives a special shoutout for helping him achieve 100k subscribers on YouTube.

Speed’s dad wins Speed’s and people’s hearts after being confronted for mocking the IShowMeat incident
The IShowMeat incident was one of the worst situations Speed had to face during his career. He accidentally flashed his genitals on stream and he was named IShowMeat by the internet. But Speed was broken-hearted when he saw his father make a mockery of him about the incident on TikTok.
His father explained to him that the video was not targeted towards him in any way. He was speaking about himself the entire time. Although Speed was not so convinced, his father explained that he loved him and he would never do anything to hurt him. But now he was able to win back everyone’s hearts with his heart-touching speech after the Streamy Awards.
