After winning the US Open title in 2022, Alcaraz got the date he won the final tattooed on his arm as a forever reminder of his historic achievement. The Spaniard plans to get his Wimbledon final win tattooed as well, as he looks to create a winning habit at Grand Slams.

In a recent interview with Babolat, Alcaraz said that he celebrated his final victory by spending time with family and friends in Spain. The 20-year-old further added that he had a party with his friends to celebrate his triumph. Alcaraz mentioned that he feels spending time with his close one’s is the best way to celebrate success.

“I spent time with my family and friends, I think that is the best thing to do. I had a party in Spain with my friends too. I’m planning on getting the Wimbledon tattoo on my arm like I did after the US Open.”

When asked if his arm will be too short to tattoo all his career title, the Spaniard smiled and said “Hopefully not.” Alcaraz has said his next tattoo will be the one dedicated to his Wimbledon win and many fans are predicting it to be a strawberry.

Carlos Alcaraz mulls tattoos and tributes

Alcaraz is making a habit of getting his arm tattooed after his major Grand Slam wins. The Spaniard got the date of his US Open title win tattooed and plans to do the same for his Wimbledon win. Alcaraz hinted at his plans for his next tattoo, a nod to his Wimbledon victory, might be strawberries.

Markéta Vondroušová, who recently got a strawberry tattoo after her own Wimbledon success. When asked about weather he will get a strawberry tattoo too, Alcaraz was open to the idea.

“A strawberry might be part of it. After all, Wimbledon is synonymous with strawberries and cream, and it’s a tradition that I’d love to pay homage to. It’s a great coincidence! Strawberries seem to be the theme of the season. If it holds a special meaning for me, why not?”

Alcaraz will be hoping to add another US Open winner tattoo, as the Spaniard looks to defend his title at the Flushing Meadows. As we await the unveiling of his next tattoo, one thing’s for certain – it will be a symbol of victory, growth, and a touch of history.
