Tiemoue Bakayoko forgot his own shirt number and was on the verge to sub himself off in the Ligue 1 win by 3-0 against Amiens.

Tiemoue Bakayoko is famous for his funny moments and hilarious blunders on the pitch. In a similar incident during the last match played by Monaco against Amiens, Bakoyoko was seen subbing himself off.

It was seen in the video surface that the French footballer forgot his new jersey number and was heading towards Monaco bench as number 14 was instructed to leave the field.

The on-loan Chelsea man then jogged over to the touchline – before being informed he’s number six and not 14. The French midfielder wore the number 14 during his first stint at Monaco and the number currently belongs to winger Keita.

He also wore the number 14 shirt at Chelsea as well as while on loan at AC Milan last year. Bakayoko saw the funny side to it and replied to the video asking if he can have his old number back.

Even his teammate Cesc Fabregas tweeted about the incident joking it was typical Bakayoko. Both midfielders were first united in Chelsea and continuing the union in Ligue 1 now.

Bakayoko came into prominence when Monaco had a phenomenon campaign in 2017. That Monaco side included the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Fabinho and Bernardo Silva, and they all went to gain success after moving away from Monaco.

Unlike Bakayoko who has struggled during his time away from Monaco. Now, he is certainly looking ahead to re-ignite his career in Monaco with coach Leonardo Jardim.
