Tottenham Hotspurs Transfer News: Jose Mourinho hands 3 man transfer wish list to Daniel Levy

Tottenham Hotspurs Transfer News: Newly appointed manager Jose Mourinho hands his 3 man transfer wish list to Daniel Levy.

Tottenham Hotspur has appointed Jose Mourinho as the new manager of the club and there is much discussion on the incoming players in the club to make Mourinho implement his style.

The Portuguese manager’s first mission is to convince Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld their future lies with Tottenham.

All three of them are in the final years of their contract with Spurs and only 3 weeks away from being eligible to make any pre-contract talks with any other club.

So to fortify his squad, Independent has claimed that Mourinho might go for Benfica centre back Ruben Dias if Vertonghen and Alderweireld opt to step out of the club.

The 22-year-old centre back is highly followed by several clubs and even Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid are monitoring his situation.

Meanwhile, Mourinho is also eyeing the replacement of Christian Eriksen and according to the Metro, he is aiming to sign Sporting Lisbon star midfielder Bruno Fernandes, who was close to signing for Manchester United last summer.

Further, Mourinho has always been a fan of Nemanja Matic and it is been reported that the former Manchester United manager is eyeing to reunite with Matic to bolster the defensive midfield department.

It is viable for Tottenham to land Matic to the North London, as the Serbian midfielder is very below in the pecking order of Manchester United’s lineup and under Mourinho, he can obtain several minutes considering they have worked together for years.

So, Mourinho has sent these three targets to Spurs’ chairman Levy, it is now remained to see whether they will be fulfilled or not. Tottenham’s lack of willingness to spend massively can make Mourinho miss Fernande and Dias.
