It all happened after Yadav took to Instagram to upload his photo on the eve of the historic pink-ball Test match against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens. Yadav, who is currently in the Test team, is likely to continue warm the bench tomorrow.

“Back at the Eden. Lovely memories here. Excited for our first ever day night test,” read the caption of Yadav’s post.

The fan referred to Moeen Ali because the English all-rounder was in the middle when Royal Challengers Bangalore hit 27 runs off a Kuldeep Yadav over in the Indian Premier League this year. In what was a middling season for Yadav, he was soon dropped from the Playing XI.

Standing by Kuldeep’s side, Chahal made sure that the fan gets a fitting reply.

Both Kuldeep and Chahal had become India’s leading spin-duo after they replaced the senior duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav in limited-overs cricket. It was only after the ICC Cricket World Cup that the Indian selectors decided to bring in a change in the spin department.

While Chahal has made his way back into the T20I side, Yadav is expected to do the same before the ICC T20I World Cup 2020 in Australia.
