Shikhar Dhawan was dropped from the second test match, and KL Rahul was shifted up the order with Murali Vijay.

England won the toss and chose to bowl first in the rain-hit second test at Lord’s. After the first day was completely washed out, the weather cleared for the start of second day. However, India came to bat under the cloud-cover, and both the openers faltered against James Anderson.

India are currently struggling at 11/2, with captain Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara at the crease.

Earlier, India made two changes in the playing XI, as Shikhar Dhawan was dropped for Pujara, while Umesh Yadav made way for Kuldeep Yadav.
