Twitter reactions on MS Dhoni's DRS call

Twitter reactions on MS Dhoni’s DRS call: Sportsrush presents before Twitter reactions on MS Dhoni’s successful DRS call.

During the third match of the Super Four stage of the ongoing Asia Cup between India and Pakistan at Dubai, former India captain and current wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s call for a DRS saw India getting their maiden wicket of the afternoon.

After the Indian new ball bowlers in Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah’s restricted line and length didn’t let the Pakistani openers play their natural game, Indian captain Rohit Sharma introduced Yuzvendra Chahal into the bowling attack in only the eighth over.

The bowling change yielded immediate result for India as Chahal found Imam-ul-Haq wanting in front of the stumps. With the on-field umpire not giving the decision in India’s favor, Dhoni instantly urged Sharma to go for the review.

The replays confirmed that the ball would have gone on to hit the stumps. As the umpire changed his decision to rule the batsman out, eyeballs had once again fallen on Dhoni proved as to why he is so highly rated behind the stumps. With Haq getting out on 10, India got their all important breakthrough.

Dhoni’s brilliant effort saw people get highly excited  on social media platform Twitter. The term ‘Dhoni Review System’ was trending at a pan-India platform within no time after the dismissal.
