Wow!

It has been a remarkable year for the lanky pacer, as Jaydev Unadkat has been bought by Rajatshan Royals for a whooping Rs 11.5 crores.

The left-arm pacer had a strong IPL last year, as he was one of Pune’s driving forces en route to the final. Unadkat’s strong performances also gave him another call-up to the national side, which the pacer then grabbed to have a very good T20 series against Sri Lanka.

While Unadkat was bound to go for a high price, no one expected him to become the most expensive Indian player at the auction!

Unadkat went past the Rs 11 crores that was paid to KL Rahul and Manish Pandey. CSK fought hard with KXIP for the pacer, before Rajasthan Royals jumped in at the death and snapped up Unadkat.
