The first player from Afghanistan to ever play in the Indian Premier League has been a revelation in the tournament so far. Rashid had mentioned in his pre match interview about how he wanted to inspire the youngsters living in Afghanistan to play more cricket.
His performance today would surely go a long way in achieving that as he picked up three huge wickets in the form of McCullum, Raina and Finch. All three of them have international T20 hundreds to their name and form the crux of the Gujarat side’s batting lineup.
