UEFA Champions League round of 16 possible draws for the Premier League teams, as the draw ceremony is scheduled to take place on Monday.

The Champions League’s group stages are over and we have our final 16 teams for the next round of this edition of the competition. England is the only country so far, who have their all participating teams in this round. Spain/Germany can be the other coefficient to achieve it either of Atletico Madrid or Bayer Leverkusen qualify tonight.

From Bundesliga, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have advanced. Meanwhile, three Italian teams have entered into the next stage- Juventus, Napoli and Atalanta.

The French challenge is now limited to only two teams- PSG and Lille. Thus, this will be the lineup for the Champions League round of 16.

As a rule, a club can’t face a club from the same co-efficient in the round of 16 phases and also not from the same group. The rule is further omitted from the quarter-finals onwards.

So, clubs from Spain and England have limited teams which can be allocated to them in comparison to the rest of the coefficients and at the same time Shakhtar Donetsk has a number of options in the pool.

With this, let’s look at the possible teams the Premier League clubs can face as the draw is scheduled to take place on the coming Friday.

With limited options at the disposal for the English teams, they will certainly phase tougher teams in this round. Especially, Chelsea and Tottenham, who ended second in the group stage, and they might get to face teams like Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, Liverpool and Manchester City are also in probable to face Real Madrid, who are slowly regaining their old form in this tournament.
