Similarly, ‘The Eagle’ once appeared on the famous ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson’ podcast along with former UFC double champion Henry Cejudo. However, according to reports on the internet, Nurmagomedov wasn’t entirely pleased with being on the episode.

‘The Eagle’ is well known for his discipline and strict norms in the sport. On top of that, the Russian MMA legend is a practicing Muslim. Thus, he dislikes some aspects that are forbidden in his religion.
In an old press conference, per Crash MMA, the former UFC lightweight champion expressed his disliking of how Mike Tyson looked. Nurmagomedov also stated that he asked Tyson to get rid of all the marijuana stuff on his table before the podcast.

‘The Eagle’ was of the opinion that Tyson appeared less like an athlete. “I didn’t like his look. I told him right away to get rid of all the things like smoke on the table. And I didn’t like being there. I liked more the way Cristiano Ronaldo looked. He looks like an athlete.” Nurmagomedov said.
Nurmagomedov and Tyson both have a liking for Muhammad Ali
