Khabib Nurmagomedov, the former UFC lightweight champion is undoubtedly one of the greatest UFC fighters ever. But this hasn’t come easy. The Russian fighter has traversed a path of strict discipline and labor to reach this position in the sport.
‘The Eagle’ is renowned for his rigorous training regimen and commitment to the craft. To mold his pupils into the finest MMA fighters, Nurmagomedov appears to instill the same values in them, as seen in a recent viral video.
Fans react to strict rules at Khabib Nurmagomedov’s gym
On the internet, a video taken inside the Nurmagomedov gym is going viral. An instructor is seen queuing up students and inspecting their haircuts in the video footage.

Students who have excessively long hair receive a thrashing with a stick. The video reveals the stringent guidelines that pupils attending Nurmagomedov’s gym must follow, including those regarding haircuts.

Khabib Nurmagomedov as coach
After successfully defending his lightweight title for the final time in 2020, ‘The Eagle’ left the sport. Nurmagomedov has sported the coach’s hat ever since. He now prepares his friends and teammates for their own MMA careers.
Nurmagomedov has so far performed well in the role. Islam Makhachev, who was under his direction, won the UFC lightweight title. Usman Nurmagomedov also held the lightweight championship at Bellator while training under Khabib.
In addition, a lot of the fighters of ‘Team Khabib’ have had success in the cage after training with the former UFC champion. So it is easy to say that many MMA fighters have found Nurmagomedov’s training methods to be effective.
