It is worth noting that Ngannou’s contract with the UFC most likely ran out last month in December. And with the Cameroonian being quite vocal about his desire to have things his way if and when he renews with the UFC, it will be interesting to see if the MMA organization agrees to that.

What does Ngannou want in his new UFC contract?

The UFC heavyweight champion has expressed his disappointment in not being paid enough by the UFC on many occasions. As per his last contract, he was paid around $500-700K per fight in the UFC which is far less than what other notable names in the company make.

Moreover, Francis Ngannou also wants his new UFC contract to allow him to indulge in crossover boxing, as it is something that has attracted him a lot.
