Conor McGregor is not a top fighter?: EA Sports UFC 4 Removes Conor McGregor From The "Top Fighters" List

Conor McGregor is not a top fighter according to the official video game outfit of UFC, EA Sports UFC 4.

While two weeks have passed since the MMA Fraternity witnessed the unprecedented TKO loss of Conor McGregor at UFC 257, the concerning effects are still pounding on the prestige of the notorious one. In the subsequent week of his loss, Conor McGregor’s name slumped in the UFC Lightweight rankings, and now an update in the premier video game entity of UFC depicts that the king is no longer close to the throne.

According to the latest modification in EA Sports UFC 4, Conor McGregor does not feature in the “Top Fighters” section anymore. Moreover, in the game’s ratings, he now stands below Eddie Alverez, Edson Barboza, and Josh Emmet.

What’s Next For Conor McGregor?

After enduring physical damage at UFC 257 against Dustin Poirier, Conor McGregor is currently recuperating from the leg injury. Diamond’s calf kicks proved to be the differentiating factor in the match, which left Mystic Mac on crutches. On account of the leg injury, McGregor has received a 6-month medical suspension.

Though the suspension may not allow him to come back before June, the former champ-champ is seemingly eager to make an early return. Post the fight, McGregor straightaway expressed interest in the third showdown against Poirier, and recently on social media as well McGregor voiced further heed on the trilogy bout.

With 3 more fights left in his UFC contract and a keenness to appear again in the Octagon, it is certain that the most recognized UFC fighter in the world is not going to leave the leading combat field, however, who he may face next is a concern which the matchmakers might have to handle with care.
