Former UFC champ-champ Daniel Cormier revealed one of the most enthralling moments of his career as a commentator for the promotion.
Upon announcing retirement after UFC 252, in 2020 Daniel Cormier became a full-time broadcaster, however, he’s been working as a commentator for the UFC for several years.
At the commentary desk, he witnesses supreme action week-in, week-out and hence could list scores of path-breaking moments. And thus, has revealed one of them.

Daniel Cormier reveals ‘one of the craziest moments’ he witnessed from the commentary table
One of the craziest, according to the man himself, occurred at UFC 248 in March, when Beneil Dariush finished Drakkar Klose with a blistering second-round knockout. Highlighting this moment Cormier puts the spotlight on the importance of fans in the arena.
“O my, can we go back to the time we had fans?” Cormier wrote on Instagram, tagging his fellow commentators Joe Rogan and Jon Anik. “One of the craziest moments I’ve had at the commentary table. We lost it, boys!”

Outside the commentary career, Daniel Cormier is one of the most accomplished champions in MMA history. After winning the Strikeforce heavyweight Grand Prix, he made his debut in the UFC.

Started out as a heavyweight in UFC, Daniel Cormier rapidly rose through the ranks, then moved down to light heavyweight in search of gold. Where, he initially faced a setback against Jon Jones but, eventually got hold of the gold in the subsequent fight against Anthony Johnson.
It is in August 2020, when DC decided to put a full stop to his legendary in-ring career. And if that wasn’t enough the 43-year-old is already considered an exceptional commentator.
