During the event, in the midst of a back-and-forth with Kattar, Holloway clamored about being the best boxer in UFC. While McGregor apparently disagrees with Holloway on his Boxing claim but in an interview with The MacLife he did acknowledge the Blessed’s incredible spectacle, which he created at UFC Fight Island 7.

“I thought it was a solid performance. He fought an up and comer and he done well. I was actually doing an interview there and he skateboarded by the window, so he’s obviously hanging around. Yeah, fair play to him. More power to him,” said Conor McGregor.

McGregor and Holloway have met once in the Octagon before in 2013. Both were rising Featherweight contenders at that time and it was McGregor who had the last laugh on that occasion. So, with the Irishman making his comeback at UFC 257 and plans to stay active through the year, there is a possibility that at some point in the foreseeable future these two may agree for a rematch.

“He’s definitely in the pipeline for a bout against me, for sure. I would happily rematch Max and after a performance like that, he’s put himself right up there,” added McGregor.
