Ryan Garcia recently was on The Rich Eisen Show and made some interesting revelations. Does Ryan Garcia really want to beat Conor McGregor?

Ryan Garcia has expressed his interest in competing inside the octagon. He would be interested in MMA once he retires from boxing.

Ryan Garcia vs Conor McGregor?

Ryan Garcia is right now 24 years old and plans to retire from boxing at the age of 26 years. When he made an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show he had some things to say. Though this interview was back in the day, his plan still remains pretty much the same.

Ryan Garcia did not look happy about things going around in general in the outside world. He seemed like he wanted to bring in a change. The host asked him wouldn’t continue fighting to help him to spread a good message around the world and won’t it be for a good cause.

King Garcia liked this question a lot. He stuck to staying retired at 26. Ryan Garcia then added that yes, people do retire and come back. If that ever will happen with Ryan Garcia, he will come back and fight people who people will say Ryan Garcia cannot beat.

Ryan Garcia said that after I am done retiring if people say that this ain’t real fighting. Real fighting is kick submissions, chokes, and all that, ill prove to them that I am the best fighter, and ill step inside the octagon and compete in MMA. I will go to MMA to prove a point that god is greatest, he added.

Ryan Garcia also added that he will beat whoever it is in MMA even if it is Conor McGregor ill beat him. Garcia also said that he isn’t saying this for money as he doesn’t care about money. Ryan Garcia seems really interested in transitioning over to MMA.

Athletes transitioning to different sports:

These days, athletes transitioning to a different sport is very common. The trend of MMA fighters transitioning to boxing was started by Conor McGregor. He stepped inside the ring with the greatest boxer of all time, Floyd Mayweather.

We have seen fighters like Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and others getting into boxing right. These three guys have common opponents in Jake Paul. There are many athletes who have transitioned from football to MMA.

“I’m not The King, I don’t like people saying Ryan King Ryan, You know I mean, I do like cause I feel like a king in the ring I feel like a warrior but I like to acknowledge that I live to serve Jesus” – Ryan Garcia

Ryan Garcia’s transitioning to boxing would be the first big name in boxing trying to compete inside the octagon. Let’s see how his MMA debut goes once he steps inside the octagon.
