Kurt Angle says Brock Lesnar wants to fight Jon Jones. Rumours regarding Lesnar’s future has been doing the rounds since the confirmation of his free agent status.
Brock Lesnar is one of the biggest names when it comes to combat arts. He has been a top star in both the UFC and WWE. He is the only person to have ever win the WWE and UFC Heavyweight Championships. As far as his career in the octagon goes however, the 43-year old is officially retired from MMA. However, is there one more match left in the beast incarnate?

Long time colleague and friend Kurt Angle says that he thinks it’s a longshot but if he does return, Brock Lesnar only wants to fight Jon Jones.
“Brock’s told me that several times, that’s who he wants…I think that might be the only way to get Brock to fight. I think he just wants Jones,” Angle said on The Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast.
I didn’t know Jon Jones called the shots
Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jones, who has moved up to the heavyweight division, recently called out Lesnar claiming he would “beat Lesnar’s a**”. However, current UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic insists that he should get first shot at Lesnar if he does eventually return.
“I think so, and a hundred per cent I think so. I do, a hundred per cent. If anything, I would get the Brock Lesnar fight first or be asked first. I didn’t know he (Jon Jones) called the shots. I didn’t know that,” Stipe Miocic said on the Believe You Me podcast.
It is unlikely however, that Lesnar’s first match, if he does return, will be a title match. UFC president Dana White has also made it clear that Jon Jones will only get a shot at the title after Francis Ngannou has his chance. This frees both Jones and Lesnar for a match that White himself has stated he’s ready to book if the two fighters are “seriously interested”.
