Max ‘Blessed’ Holloway is one of the most entertaining fighters in the UFC. The Hawaiian fighter has captivated fans globally with his grit, determination, and flawless boxing. His professional MMA records speak for himself, with 24 wins and 7 losses. He has fought some of the toughest fighters out there and has made a name for himself inside the octagon. However, growing up, ‘Blessed’ was an introvert and has come a long way in his life being the star of the octagon.
Holloway grew up in Waianae of Honolulu, Hawaii, and was drawn towards combat sports from a very young age. This is evident from the fact that ‘Blessed’ had already embarked on his fighting career whilst he was in high school.
The Hawaiian was the youngest fighter at the time to fight for the promotion back when he made his debut. Since then he has quite an impressive resume even clenching the Featherweight title. A lot of credit goes to his family and how they have supported him throughout the years.

Max Holloway was born to Mark Holloway and Missy Kapoi. Her Mother Missy, opted to keep her maiden name after she split up with Mark. Max’s childhood was quite though as both his parents were addicted to substance abuse.
After the split up with Mark, Missy took care of Max and made sure that he could get whatever he needed. Being a single mom she had to make a lot of sacrifices in order to ensure Max’s growth.
Max Holloway first got married to his ex-wife Kaimana Pa’aluhi who is a model and has featured in a few films. She gave birth to their son Rush Holloway. However just five years after their marriage in 2012, they got divorced in 2017. Holloway later found the love of his life Alessa Quizon in 2020.

Quizon and Holloway have been together since 2020. However, they decided to get married in 2022. Quizon is quite an energetic sports lover. Married to a UFC fighter, Quizon does not shy away from a few splashes. Alessa is a professional surfer who has been featured in the Rip Curl Women’s Pro Bells Beach.
For both Max and Alessa, this is their second serious relationship. Quizon was earlier engaged to another pro surfer Caio Ibelli. Max and Quizon first got engaged back in 2020 and got married in 2022.
Holloway broke the shackles of his parent’s toxic relationship and has become an ideal father and husband. Holloway often includes his family during the UFC fight promotion.
