Joe Rogan was probably among the first few men from the MMA’s biggest promotion to acknowledge the talent of Conor McGregor.
While the arguments about where Conor McGregor stands in the GOAT debate are often prevalent, but with his over the top antics and his distinct demeanor, the Irishman is without a doubt the most recognized MMA fighter in the current set up.
From making a name in the open market to now being acknowledged as UFC’s first champ-champ, the fighter has come a long way. However, there was a time when he was not introduced to the glorified audience of UFC and was just a prospect in the MMA circuit but, even then the premier voice of UFC and a fight enthusiast himself Joe Rogan did turn out to be among the first few men who identified the talent in the southpaw.

Throwback To Joe Rogan Giving a Shoutout to Conor McGregor
On December 31st, 2012, Conor McGregor, then a representative of Cage Warriors, claimed the featherweight gold of the promotion. He thereby reached the summit of the promotion holding two belts simultaneously (Lightweight and Featherweight). On the subsequent day, January 1, 2013, Joe Rogan took to Twitter to congratulate the then future legend of UFC.
