UFC Announced Two Huge Fights For The August 22 Event

UFC announced two new fights for the August 22, Fight Night Event. The fights will carry the position of the main event and the co-main event. 

For August 22 event of the Fight Night, UFC has started to draw the main card, and on Wednesday, came up with the main event and co-main event of the night, in the form of Frankie Edgar Vs. Pedro Munhoz (Bantamweight), and Yoel Romero Vs. Uriah Hall (Middleweight).

Before this, two events are already lined up. One is the Fight Night Event, which is set for August 8, 2020, and the other one is UFC 252: Miocic Vs. Cormier 3, where the main event is the headliner of the month, and perhaps may go down as the fight of the year.

Not getting carried away by such a huge event, UFC in a race of its own, has started to devise about the week that follows UFC 252. However, there is still time left for the August 22 event, where at least 3 more fights are yet to be contemplated for the main card. Meanwhile, August 8 event is upon us, and here’s the full fight card of that.

  • Middleweight Fight (Co-main event): Omari Akhmedov Vs. Chris Weidman

  • Lightweight Fight: Beneil Dariush Vs. Scott Holtzman
