UFC 288 was one of the most successful events as the fans saw the return of Henry Cejudo. The aftermath between Sean O’Malley, Aljamain Sterlin, and Merab Dvaishvili is something the fans enjoyed. As the fever for UFC 288 goes down, we have another amazing Fight night coming up this weekend. UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs Almeida will be live this Saturday on 14th May.
The clash of heavyweights is what we have got for this weekend. But other than the main card we have a couple of more high-level exciting fights on this card.
UFC Fight Night this weekend:
Main Card:
- Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs Jailton Almeida
- Anthony Smith vs Johnny Walker
- Daniel Rodriguez vs Ian Machado Garry
- Carlos Ulberg vs Ihor Potieria
- Tim Means vs Alex Morono
Jairzinho Rozenstruik showed a lot of promise when he came into the heavyweight circle in the UFC. His kickboxing skills are second to none. He was amongst the very few who called out Francis Ngannou. Unfortunately, he lost his step in that fight. He has a decent challenge in front of him in Jailton Almeida.
We have 205 pounders clashing each other in the co-main event. Anthony Smith is a fan favorite and has fought for the title in the past against Jon Jones. Johnny Walker is an explosive athlete and can knock anybody out in the division. It will be a fun match up.
Daniel Rodrigues was supposed to fight Kevin Holland when Holland fought Khamzat Chimaev. Now he has got an Irishman who is making a lot of noise in the UFC. Ian Garry is following Conor McGregor’s footsteps as he looks to make a mark in the UFC.
Prelims and other details around the card:
UFC Fight Night has a prelim card that’s stacked, too. The legend Matt Brown competes in the main event of the prelims. The fights will be at the Spectrum Centre, Charlotte, United States.

Carlos Ulberg vs Ihor Potieria in the light heavyweight division will be one of the interesting fights. The fans have seen Carlos Ulberg train with the champions like Isarel Adesanya, Alexander Volkanovski and also with Dan Hooker and the entire city Kickboxing team.

Matt Brown could very well be in his last days in the UFC. He has been fighting for a long time and is a legend in the sport. With a record of 25 wins and 19 losses, this legend has done it all in the sport. He will face Court McGee in the welter weight division.
