Valhiem Copies Sold : Valheim just crossed 3 million purchases worldwide!

The extremely popular survival-based game has made a huge splash in the gaming industry ever since it came out. Ever since Valheim was released on February 2nd, it has been consistently outperforming itself. What could be the reason behind the uncannily good performance shown by the game?

Valheim is centered around the Viking culture and has you conquer, build and loot your way through it. What’s more, it’s only 1 GB in file size but has tons of things to achieve in-game. For a survival-based game, it also has an appreciable fighting system well equipped with parries and slashes.

There are also different tiers of equipment that help you defeat stronger and cooler enemies as you progress. Unfortunately, farming is a big factor in the game and requires you to mine a lot. This means that initially, a ton of your time will be used up just in procuring the materials to get upgrades.

This might have played a pretty big role in the game’s success. Either way, it is a win-win for the gamers as the game’s success would hopefully motivate the developers to make the game a better experience overall.
