The Barcelona boss is determined on Fabinho, as busy summer window awaits the Catalan club.
According to Don Balon, Blaugrana boss Ernesto Valverde has reportedly urged his club’s board to consider a move for Monaco star Fabinho.
Barcelona is aiming to tinker with their squad as they target a Champions League title challenge next season. Since Ernesto Valverde took charge of the club, there is no looking back for the Catalans.
They have already wrapped up the Spanish La Liga with one game in hand. Barcelona are a staggering 15 points ahead of arch-rivals Real Madrid.
However, according to transfer rumour specialists Don Balon, Valverde doesn’t want Camp Nou chiefs to rest on their laurels. It is said that Fabinho has impressed Valverde with his performances this season.
The versatile Monaco star is attracting interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.He has also expressed interest to play in a Europe’s top league one day.

According to Don Balon, Fabinho will cost Barcelona around €40 Million, a bargain price for the player of such a high calibre.
Since emerging onto the scene in the last few campaigns, Monaco ace has proven to be one of the most effective and best midfielders in France. A summer move to Manchester United or Barcelona could be on the cards for Fabinho. The Brazilian was close to joining Manchester United in the previous summer transfer window for £25m.
Portuguese side Rio Ave acquired the 24-year fullback in 2013. Since, he has become a key player for Monaco after Eric Abidal retired. In 231 appearances for The Red and Whites, Fabinho has managed to rack up 30 goals and 21 assists.
The player’s ability to play at both right back and in midfield is one of his best qualities, with his ability from set pieces also coming in handy during his time in France. In securing the Brazilian, Valverde would be getting his midfield destroyer without compromising on other skills.
