Trent Alexander Arnold drops a funny reply to a fan who asked a question related to Lionel Messi Vs Cristiano Ronaldo on #AskTrent.

Trent Alexander Arnold has often displayed his witty persona on social media, especially when it comes to him engaging with his teammates and the fans.

In the recent episode of #AskTrent, the English defender once again dropped a witty response. He was asked a range of questions including “would you rather play with Messi or Ronaldo?”

And the England international replied by naming his club colleague Jordan Henderson. Although further into the Q&A session, when he was asked who has been his toughest opponent so far in his career.

He named Lionel Messi, which slightly shows his admiration for the Argentine International, against whom he has played twice. On the other hand, Henderson has been one of the crucial players in Liverpool’s recent success.

The 30-year-old midfielder had an outstanding term with Liverpool this season, as the Reds won the Premier League with an impressive campaign. Henderson’s performances make him a prime candidate for the Player of the year award.

Meanwhile, Alexander Arnold has also been highly influential in Liverpool’s campaign this season. The 21-year-old defender bagged 14 assists across all competitions this season, out of them, 12 were achieved in the Premier League alone.

His tally of assists is highest by any defender in the modern history of the game. Therefore, many experts claim that he should be experimenting midfield, over where he is touted to have more success.

Even the English International has some admiration for midfielders and attacker, as he listed Steven Gerrard, Zinedine Zidane and Thierry Henry as his idols while growing up.

With the end of the Premier League, Trent’s season is also over, as they saw an early exit from both Champions League and FA Cup this season.
