Video mocking Lingard’s goal and assists in 2019 has gone viral. The Manchester United player had a dreadful year and will for a change this term.
Jesse Lingard has been with Manchester United since he was 7 years old until he finally made it to the senior team and eventually became a regular in the playing eleven. However, his performance in 2019, did very little to justify his place in the starting line-up.

Jesse Lingard has previously opened up on his personal tragedies that has contributed to his struggles on the pitch. Understandable to a degree. However, with Lingard, fans get the impression that he cares more about having fun than the club.
According to reports, Manchester United have included him in a deal to bring in Leicester City’s James Maddison. If true, then it means, that the club have finally given up on a man who has failed to fire a single goal or assist in the Premier League for the entirety of 2019!

Lingard will hope for a better 2020. One that sees him have an impact on the game more times than he doesn’t. Although his performance against Arsenal, that ended in a 2-0 defeat for Manchester United, has done very little to inspire confidence.
