Looks like Virat Kohli may be getting married after all this month!
Back in the day, Tiger Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore were one of the most sought after couples in India. The public could not have enough of them as the charismatic skipper of India was dating one of the leading Bollywood ladies at the time.
Fast forward to 2017 and a similar relationship has developed between current Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood superstar Anushka Sharma. The pair are at the top of their respective games and have made several appearances together in public.
Virat and Anushka, fondly known as Virushka, recently made the news when they appeared in an advertisement for Manyavar. The video went viral within minutes which only goes to show the love that the people have for the two as a couple.

Over the last few months, Kohli has come out in public and spoken about how Anushka has played a huge role in his life. The Indian skipper even went as far as saying that Anushka is the one who helped him mature and get rid of the party boy image from his earlier years.
Recently, Anushka also spoke about her relationship with Kohli and mentions how she does not like the fact the people always asked her to explain her equation with the cricketer.
“Fair enough. I will tell you why I don’t want to talk about it. I was open about my relationship because I thought that’s me handling something maturely and I expected people also to handle it maturely.
But I feel not everyone knows how to do that. All they are interested in is scoops. ‘Oh! They met.’ – If you are dating someone you will meet them na? How can meeting someone become such big news? It was just too much.
As an actor, I was giving some of my best performances but in an interview, the headline would always be about my personal life.”
But now news is coming through Kohli and Anushka may get married as early as next week in Italy. The B-town actress has reportedly cleared her schedule and will tie the knot with the Indian skipper next week.
Kohli, who captained India to a ninth straight series win against Sri Lanka earlier today, will not take part in the ODI and T20 series against Sri Lanka. With Kohli’s next assignment being the much awaited South Africa series in January, now seems to be the perfect time for Kohli to start a new chapter in his life.
