Virat Kohli becomes the first man to rack up 900 points in ICC ODI rankings
The records keep tumbling for Virat Kohli, as the Indian skipper now becomes the first man to reach 900 points in the ICC ODI player rankings.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s consistency is becoming quite difficult to believe, as the classy right hander has carried on and notched up three hundreds in the ongoing series against South Africa.
Kohli has dominated the hosts, as the South African bowlers have looked clueless against the batsman. After a superb century in Durban, Kohli backed it up with two more, as he completed 35 ODI centuries.
Unquestionably the best batsman in ODIs right now.
Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan are also in the top ten rankings, as India’s top three have strengthened their case for being one of the greatest trios in limited overs cricket.
MS Dhoni remains at number 15.
India’s dominant display in the ODI series have seen them create a big gap at the top of the rankings, as the Men in Blue have underlined their status as the best limited overs side in world cricket.
Among the bowler, Bumrah and Rashid Khan occupy the top positions, as these two young stars will certainly be a fixture in these lists for a long time to come.
