Shahid Afridi’s tweet on ‘Indian occupied Kashmir’ hasn’t gone down very well with Indians with people taking to Twitter to slam Afridi for his ‘baseless’ comments.

Gautam Gambhir too was dragged into the conversation when apparently some media house had contacted him to get his statement regarding Afridi’s statement.

Gambhir decided to take to Twitter to settle the debate, giving his reply to Afridi in the most Gambhir like manner ever.

“Media called me for reaction on @SAfridiOfficial tweet on OUR Kashmir & @UN. What’s there to say? Afridi is only looking for @UN which in his retarded dictionary means “UNDER NINTEEN” his age bracket. Media can relax, @SAfridiOfficial is celebrating a dismissal off a no- ball!!!” Gambhir’s tweet read.

Virat Kohli too was questioned about Afridi’s tweet after RCB’s practice session today and Kohli took the question head on, giving his viewpoint on the entire controversy.

Kohli took a nation first approach, saying that he would never express anything that wasn’t in the best interest of his nation.

“As an Indian you want to express what is best for your nation & my interests are always for the benefit of our nation. If anything opposes it, I would never support it for sure. But having said that, it’s a very personal choice for someone to comment about certain issues. Unless I have total knowledge of the issues & the intricacies of it I don’t engage in it but definitely your priority stays with your nation.” Kohli said.

Kapil Dev came down heavily on Afridi, asking the media as to why they were paying attention to Afridi’s comments.

“Who is he? Why are we giving importance to him? We should not be giving importance to certain people.” Kapil Dev said.
