Virat Kohli ruled out of Surrey county stint due to neck injury

Virat Kohli and RCB bowed out of the tournament after a loss against RR in their final league game of their IPL season.

Kohli was visibly distraught after RCB’s loss as they had the required ammunition to make it to the playoffs, however, just couldn’t decipher the correct combination in order to go deep into the tournament.

After drafting Moeen Ali into the side, it seemed as if they had figured out the correct combination, as Moeen offered them 2 overs with the ball and was good enough with the bat coming in at number 4.

RCB had to win all 4 of their last 4 games and did manage to scrape through the first 3, but couldn’t get across the line in that final must-win encounter against RR.

Virat Kohli who is presently resting before his county stint with Surrey, has now come up with a message for RCB fans. He wanted his fans to know that the team has learnt a lot from the loss and that they are going to come back stronger next season.

“I really believe in the concept of, “you either win or you learn”. We fought hard and gave it our all but one thing is for sure, next season we definitely will bounce back stronger than ever with our learnings from this season. Take care.” Kohli’s tweet read.
