Virat Kohli is on a roll these days ! (Virat Kohli sends a message on International Women’s Day!)
After India’s spectacular come from behind win against Australia in Bangalore, Virat Kohli has now sent a heartfelt message on Instagram in which he paid a tribute to his mother and Anushka Sharma as a message for International Women’s Day.
His Instagram post read: “Happy women’s day to every woman out there, but specially to the two strongest women in my life. My mom for looking after the family in toughest times in life and @anushkasharma for fighting against the odds regularly and standing up for righteousness and changing the norms #happywomenday”

Kohli has always been known to be very close to his mother and this post will come as no surprise to anyone who knows him. (Virat Kohli sends a message on International Women’s Day!)
His rumored relationship with Bollywood star Anushka Sharma has created a lot of buzz in both the cricket as well as Bollywood worlds. While he has always denied to be in any sort of relationship, Kohli has previously mentioned how Anushka has played an important role in his life.
He has also posted a message on Valentine’s day. “Everyday is a valentine day if you want it to be. You make everyday seem like one for me. @anushkasharma” which certainly had people reading between the lines.
As long as his cricketing performance remains as it is, the media houses will continue to glorify this high profile combo, but as soon as his form dips you can be sure that everyone will criticize these two superstars for living their life as they see it.
We can only hope that it does not happen.
