Virat Kohli was a relieved and happy man after the colossal battle between RCB and SRH at the Chinnaswamy tonight.

RCB had a task on their hands, as Williamson had put them into bat, on a ground that traditionally favoured the chasing side because of its short boundaries.
However, as Kohli said at the toss, there wasn’t much they could do about ‘fate’ and had to get the job done in the circumstances presented to them.
AB de Villiers and Moeen Ali put up a show with the bat during the middle overs, with CDG writing its climax with some authority.
RCB had 219 on the board and it seemed a tab too much for the SRH batting unit.
Hales and Dhawan though got off to brilliant start and just when it seemed like Hales could tee off, AB de Villiers took off from the ground, flew in the air and took a one-handed catch at the boundary to send Hales packing.
It was a moment that every cricket fan looked at with starry eyes. AB de Villiers had once again come up with something superhuman on the cricket field and the sad part was that he made it look so easy, like mortals could attempt it on a Sunday afternoon(don’t try it at home).
Virat Kohli too was all praise for ABD’s catch at the post match presentation and later also came up with a tweet to show his admiration for the great man.

RCB will now fly off to Jaipur for their final league game and they need to win that one as well in order to have any chance of making it to the playoffs.
