Virgil Van Dijk goal vs Norwich City: Watch Liverpool defender scoring through header without even jumping

Virgil Van Dijk goal vs Norwich City: Watch Liverpool defender scoring a goal through a header even without making an effort to jump.

Liverpool are having an ideal start to their Premier League campaign, as their first league match of the season is already won even before the half-time clock.

The Reds have gained a significant lead of three goals in the match, and are likely to extend it further in the second half of the game. It is looking like Norwich City defenders are nervous, and have been unlucky even with a competitive display by the visitors.

The Canaries concede the first goal by David Origi’s shot, which got deflected by Norwich City Captain to gain a one-goal deficit. The second goal was by Mohamed Salah, who dribbled past the visitors’ defense to extend it.

Certainly, the goals scored weren’t brilliant on display and were conceded due to some nervousness at the backline. Similarly, a goal by Virgil Van Dijk was conceded by Norwich City.

Liverpool won a corner in the 28th minute of the game, and as usually the Dutch defender came into the opposite 18-yard-box to utilize his aerial abilities.

However, the player of the year of last season did not need to, as he was so poorly marked that he did not even jump to score the goal while heading the ball inside the net to make it 3-0.

Salah delivered his left-sided corner to the edge of the six-yard box, and the Canaries’ defender allowed him to step forward that Van Dijk did not even elevate himself off the ground to push the ball into the net. Instead, he merely touched it by his forehead, and it was enough to send ith through Tim Krul’s legs.
