AB de Villiers is the ultimate favourite for many cricket fans. His potential to clear the ball like a hot knife through butter is widely known. He once again stole the spotlight in South Africa’s domestic tournament Ram Slam T20 where he essayed a flamboyant 19-ball half 50.

The superman achieved the feat plying his trade for Titans playing against Highveld Lions. He loves playing the shortest format and he never ceases to amaze us with his terrifying shots. One of the shots that he hit has almost cleared the park.
Lions have managed to score 127 in their quota of 15 overs in a rain-curtailed match. The specialist opener Reeza Hendricks’ 42-ball 67 including 8 fours and 2 sixes helped Lions post a commendable target. Albie Morkel, the skipper of Titans picked 3 wickets.
In reply to the target, Quinton de Kock gave a spectacular start, scored a 24-ball 39 (5 fours, 2 sixes) despite the failure from Henry Davis. He was parterned by the skipper Albie Morkel who scored 16-ball 41 with 1 four and 5 towering sixes.
After Quinton de Kock’s momentum, there came only AB de Villiers’ cameo whose innings took everyone by a sensational shock. Not that easy to hit a half century off just 19 balls but AB made it look so. He chipped in with 5 maximums and 3 minimums.
The blazing 85-run partnership was so vital that helped Titans ace the chase by 8 wickets at SuperSport Park, Centurion.
