Among the bowlers, Australia fast bowler Mitchell Starc surpassed former Australia spearhead Glenn McGrath’s record of most wickets in a World Cup. As far as the all-rounders are concerned, Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan became the first all-rounder to score 500 runs and dismiss 10 batsmen in a single World Cup.

While Latham (21) affected all his dismissals in catches, it was veteran India wicket-keeper batman Mahendra Singh Dhoni (3) who affected maximum stumping dismissals in the tourney.
Among the fielders, England batsman Joe Root (13) grabbed the maximum catches in this World Cup. The next best on the list are South Africa captain Faf du Plessis (10) and England opening batsman Jonny Bairstow (9).
