Dale Steyn reveals his favourite cricketer: The legendary South African bowler attempted the Google Autocomplete interview.

Veteran South Africa and Islamabad United fast bowler Dale Steyn recently attempted the Google Autocomplete interview where he answered several questions regarding his cricketing career.

Steyn, 36, was in Pakistan for the fifth season of the Pakistan Super League which got postponed on the day of its semi-finals due to the outbreak of a “pandemic” in COVID-19.

Having picked just two wickets in the four matches that he played for United this season, Steyn saw his team finishing at the bottom of the points table with only three wins in 10 matches.

Being asked about his health and fitness mantra, Steyn kept it simple by laying emphasis on exercising regularly, training hard, looking after his health and drinking packaged milk.

On being asked about his favourite cricketer, Steyn took the name of former South African captain AB de Villiers. Having made his Test debut alongside de Villiers against England in 2004 in Port Elizabeth, 221 of Steyn’s 265 international appearances have come in de Villiers’ presence.

With Steyn pressing hard for a spot in the South African team for the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup and murmurs regarding de Villiers’ international comeback, the pair might once again be seen playing together at the highest level.

The last question which Steyn was asked was regarding his bunny, i.e., a batsman who he has dismissed the most number of times in international level. While Steyn started the answer by jokingly naming his neighbour, he did take the name of veteran Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez.

It is worth mentioning that Steyn has dismissed Hafeez on a record number of times across formats over the years. Watch the full video below:
