South Africa’s 2019 World Cup campaign came to an agonising end after they bowed down against the ‘mercurial’ Pakistan Team by 49 runs at The Lord’s on Monday. They have had a torrid World Cup against expected lines, having lost five off their seven matches so far.
Their middle-order failed to deliver a stand-out performance even once in the entire tournament, which was the prime reason for their sub-standard performance.
However, one of their middle-order batsman- David Miller has made it to the headlines, not for his exploits or heroics with the bat, but for a rather strange and embarrassing reason altogether.
What did David Miller do?
With cameras following the players all-around, wherever they go in contemporary Cricket matches this one involving the Proteas batsmen- David Miller and Aiden Markram is a rare of the rarest ones ever caught by the shutterbugs.
Moreover, you if by chance, any of such clips get leaked, the ever active social media makes sure it reaches every nook and corner of its widespread reach.
It all happened moments after the mandatory handshakes the Proteas players had with the Pakistani Team. Just while the players were returning back to their dressing room, Miller was spotted hitting the crotch of his fellow teammate and batsman Aiden Markram.
One might brush the incident under the carpet, had Miller done the aforementioned act once as an accident. But, the video clearly shows Miller fiddling or rather hitting his crotch twice, within the span of a couple of seconds.
The southpaw must have thought that his innocuous actions would go unnoticed, only for it go viral instead.
